Edie - Gypsy Hill House

July closed out with a creatively good time at Gypsy Hill House! Edie shares, "The dog days of summer are keeping us inside; however, we are not letting them slow us down here at Gypsy Hill House.  We are enjoying the air conditioning and painting with the guidance of the Staunton Arts Center leading us in step-by-step painting instructions.  This is a highly anticipated event each month here.  A good time was had by all—as usual. "

Tina - Surry Village

Tina's residents at Surry Village recently enjoyed a cook out. Games and fun for the kids, delicious hamburgers and hot dogs, and spending time with friends and neighbors were on the agenda; nobody let the heat beat them! Thank you, Tina and Tammy, for showing Surry Village a doggone great time!

Eartha - Oak Tree Village

A recent pop-up food pantry helped fill cabinets and hearts at Oak Tree Village. Community partners brought scores of nutritious food for the residents to choose from, ensuring that nobody goes hungry! The event was met with appreciation and happiness, demonstrating the impact of community in creating change.
