School's Out at Ashburn Chase!

Lucia recently shared news and photos about the summer fun that young Ashburn Chase residents have been having so far.

She writes, "June was such a productive month at Ashburn Chase. Our after-school program celebrated the last day of school with a fun-filled outdoor celebration where students came together to enjoy activities, build friendships, and reflect on a successful year. The event provided a positive and engaging environment for students to celebrate their accomplishments and the memories they created throughout the school year.

This year, our program proudly served over 20 students from both elementary and middle school grades, providing academic support, enrichment activities, mentorship, and opportunities for students to grow socially and emotionally. Throughout the year, students participated in meaningful experiences that encouraged learning, confidence, teamwork, and community connection.

During the final celebration, students enjoyed outdoor games, recreational activities, and time with their peers and mentors. The day was a wonderful opportunity for students to relax, celebrate their progress, and create lasting memories together.

We are grateful for our dedicated interns, our community managers, parent volunteers, partners, and supporters who helped make this school year a success. Together, we created a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment where students could learn, connect, and thrive. We're looking forward to a better experience next year."

Lucia also provided an awesome update about the start of the summer STEM program with their local library. She shares, "On June 16, we kicked off our summer activities with an exciting STEM program in our continued partnership with the library. Students participated in hands-on coding and robotics activities, learning basic programming skills while coding robots to complete engaging challenges. The session encouraged creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving, providing a fun and educational start to our summer program.

We are grateful to the Loudoun County Public Library for their continued partnership and commitment to inspiring our students through STEM learning."

As always--amazing things are happening at Prime!
