Staying Cool and Back to School at Unity Terrace

Mindy took a moment to share about the fun and fantastic things that have been going on at Unity Terrace lately!

First, she shared, "What do water balloons, trivia, and family fun have to do with self-sufficiency? Everything! 💦🎯

Our Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Family Field Day brought residents together for an afternoon of laughter, learning, and community. Families enjoyed exciting water activities and friendly competition while testing their knowledge with trivia covering important topics like financial literacy, education, personal safety, and everyday life skills.

At Prime CHD, we believe learning doesn't always happen in a classroom. Events like these create opportunities for families to build confidence, strengthen relationships, and gain practical knowledge that supports long-term success—all while making lasting memories together.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for a day filled with fun, teamwork, and smiles. We're proud to continue creating engaging opportunities that empower families on their journey toward self-sufficiency."

This was followed by an absolute blowout of a Back to School Cookout and Backpack Social! Mindy says, "Families came out for food, snow cones, face painting, and free school supplies + backpacks. It was a fun afternoon filled with smiles, community, and everything kids need to start the school year strong.
