What's new at Gypsy Hill House?

Exciting events are ongoing at Prime properties! Edie and her fantastic residents at Gypsy Hill House have had plenty of chances to connect and collaborate recently. Let's see what they've been doing...

Edie writes, "Attached are three photos of our ladies painting a nice winter scene with the guidance of Karen Hurt from the Staunton Arts Center.  It was a terrific way to warm up a blustery winter day.  Karen guided them step by step to paint a beautiful winter scene with birch trees along a road way."

"The local Staunton YMCA has a group of entertainers that call themselves the Y-Not Sing Singers.  They like to perform at local nursing homes and senior housing venues like Gypsy Hill House.  On Thursday they brought the fun to Gypsy Hill and livened up the room with their version of YMCA seen here.  Also 'Rain Drops Keep Falling On My Head' was one of the many sing-a-long tunes chosen – hence the head gear and umbrella!"

"Scratch off cards at Gypsy Hill House: Several seniors came to bring back old memories of days gone by.  New technology provided the cards, but good old-fashioned fun made the memories. These scratch off cards were a big hit among the residents."

"A great time was had by the seniors at Gypsy Hill as they made snowmen inside where it was safe and warm.  These little guys were made out of ping pong balls, baby socks and push pins! Great winter time craft."

Edie, thank you for bringing such joy to GHH!
